ABOUT VICKY
Maria Victoria Walker, known professionally as Lila Brochá, is a mixed-media artist whose work explores emotion, memory, and imagined spaces. Her fine art practice is inspired by everyday moments and expressive use of color, texture, and form.
In a separate body of work, Walker created Ziggy Moon, an original illustrated character developed as a narrative project. Ziggy Moon exists within illustration and storytelling, representing curiosity, gentleness, and the quiet wonder found in small moments.
Across both fine art and character illustration, Walker’s work is rooted in imagination, calm, and emotional connection, inviting viewers into reflective and approachable visual worlds.
ABOUT DENISE
am a Northeast Wisconsin–based artist whose work is guided by curiosity, play, and an intuitive creative process. Rather than beginning with a fixed plan, I allow each piece to evolve through exploration, responding to the materials as they reveal texture, movement, and unexpected possibilities. My work is inspired by the natural world, everyday moments, and the energetic quality of place. I am drawn to processes that encourage discovery and transformation, and I aim to create pieces that invite viewers to pause, engage, and form their own connection with the work. I value community and creative exchange and would be honored to be part of the diverse group of artists represented by Up Arts Gallery.
ABOUT M E
First and foremost all artwork is a totally hand-crafted product of the imagination of m e freeman. There is no ai or other digital content. Not only is he an artist, but is an illustrator. He sees everything, including thoughts, in three-dimension and in full color. Whenever he is in conversation he automatically illustrates a vision in his mind capturing the theme of the topic, hence the mind of the illustrator. At times m e freeman will work with a combination of mediums in his creations, but mostly he prefers oil based colored pencil. The works are a combination of realistic, surrealistic, and a childlike wonder. Enjoy
About Leah
I think of my work as art with which you will employ. They are functional pieces which are placed in the home to add beauty and create pause. My pieces are unassuming, inviting the viewer to move into a space of emotion. I rely on our desires for beauty, grace, and seduction of the simple and reserved. My work thus far has used the frame of simplicity to propose a sense of modernity, and in the process, point to obvious callings for daily use. I have found the existence of routine and effortlessness to be useful in the rearranging of perceived ideals. The objects I make are placed in the home, creating visible beauty in everyday objects. My projects are grounded in patience while living in the moment. Creating art is my way of finding peace.
I create one-of-a-kind collages in many different styles, and I have a selection of drypoint prints of places and things I love:
Forest Floor Collages - these are collages that I create using hand-dyed papers and fabrics, silk strippings, scrim, machine and hand embroidery, fibers, and anything else I think would resemble the forest floor.
