UP ARTS GALLERY BLOGS

Follow artists. Hear their stories. Collect when it feels right.

“Community-Driven Creative Marketplace”

Your "Community Curator"

Goal: Turn interest into relationships, and relationships into repeat art sales—without feeling salesy.

1️ Be Discoverable (Without Chasing Algorithms)

☐ Have an Up Arts Gallery artist profile
☐ Show 6–12 strong pieces (not everything you’ve ever made)
☐ Include a short artist story (why you make this work)

2️ Capture Interest Every Time It Happens

☐ Have a QR code ready at shows and events
☐ Use one simple sign-up form (name + email only)
☐ Offer a reason to join (studio updates, previews, shows)

3️ Tell the Story Behind the Work

☐ Share why a piece exists
☐ Explain materials, time, and inspiration
☐ Let collectors connect emotionally, not technically

4️ Follow Up Gently (No Pressure)

☐ Send a welcome message when someone joins
☐ Share a piece or story they didn’t see in person
☐ Invite them to stay connected

5️ Stay Consistent, Not Constant

☐ Send 1–2 updates per month
☐ Share process, progress, or upcoming shows
☐ Invite—not push—people to collect

6️ Make Buying Feel Easy

☐ Display prices clearly
☐ Offer at least one accessible price point
☐ Let collectors know how to buy or inquire

7️ Track What’s Working

☐ Note where you met collectors
☐ Notice which stories get responses
☐ Repeat what feels natural and effective

Reminder:
👉 You don’t need more followers.
👉 You need stronger connections.
