Artist Context 

Nature is my sanctuary. Whether I’m hiking forest trails, sailing open waters, or simply watching the light shift across the landscape, I find renewal in the beauty of God’s creation. That sense of peace and awe is what I aim to capture in my paintings—each brushstroke inspired by the places I’ve explored in Northern Wisconsin, the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and along the shores of Lake Michigan and the Bay of Green Bay.

ABOUT ROBIN

I call Marinette, Wisconsin home, where I live with my husband Bob. Life here is rich with simple pleasures: sailing, hiking, trout fishing, yoga, gardening, mushroom foraging, and baking sourdough bread. These moments ground me—and often spark my next watercolor or pastel piece. Painting found me during a difficult season, when the weight of loved ones’ mental health struggles felt overwhelming. What started as a quiet escape became a powerful outlet for healing—and eventually, a joyful passion for creating art that speaks to the soul.
