Miwako “Binky” Heverly

Binky finds inspiration in nature, animals, patterns and the simple beauty of everyday life.

Her ceramics are both functional and expressive—pieces made to be used, enjoyed and lived with. Look closely and you may discover flowers, leaves, animals, patterns or something entirely unexpected.

There is a warmth and playfulness to Binky’s work that makes each piece feel distinctly her own.

I even feel fate and connection with the universe when I encounter "the one." Now I am excited and proud that I create ceramic art, which could be someone's "the one!"
