JESSICA CURNING-KUENZI · CHAINMAILLE JEWELRY
Beyond What We First See
Bringing this ancient art to you

Looking a Little Longer
I create stainless steel chainmaille jewelry. Chainmaille is the ancient art of weaving metal rings together, which was used as flexible armor. I use the same technique but on a smaller scale to make jewelry. I make each piece by meticulously weaving metal rings together one by one. Some pieces are made with over 800 rings. Sometimes I add different sized rings, natural stones, crystals, colored anodized aluminum rings, and/or delicate chains to make a unique statement piece.
