Happily Ever After, a no kill pet sanctuary. www.heanokill.org
Adoption:
When you adopt a pet, you save a life. Every animal adopted from
HEA allows us to care for even more cats and dogs and place them
into loving homes.

Our Impact:
Each year, Happily Ever After serves as many dogs and cats as our
resources and forward-looking strategy allow. As a Sanctuary, there
are pets in our care that we're a forever family to, just as if they were
our own pets, because they are. You make it possible.

School BackPack Program
In Wisconsin, 43% of all students qualify for free and reduced
lunches. For many of these children, school meals may be the
only meals they eat.
Through the BackPack Program, we ensure children most in need
are getting enough to eat on the weekends so they can return
to the classroom Mondays ready to learn.

Greater New Birth Church Serves over 1,300 Families with Drive-Up Food Distribution - Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin
Cars lined up for more than 10 blocks to take part in the drive-up pantry service at Greater New Birth Church.Over 1,300 families were served with 30 to 40 pounds of groceries each to take home to their loved ones.
More than 35 volunteers took part in the distribution and put together food bags, carried the bags outside, and filled up car after car at a safe distance. Pastor Jessie Griffin said he was astounded at the amount of families in need in the community.
Greater New Birth Church has been a member of Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin for over 20 years, with their food pantry serving over 100 families each month. With the coronavirus making the church look for new ways to help the community, they held their first drive-up service in March, serving over 250 families before they ran out of food.
Generations Against Bullying testimonials
https://www.gabnow.org/about/#testimonials
“Generations Against Bullying simply opened up my daughters inner confidence allowing great strides
and growth to occur…
The opportunity for my child to work hand in hand with peers and adults who placed integrity and confidence at the forefront of all they did was simply God’s intervention! My daughter flourished as a young person maneuvering through the tumultuous teen years. GAB offered her opportunities to apply tenderness, empathy, listening and speaking skills, creativity and leadership. All of the lessons learned while she worked as a Peer Ambassador enabled her to go on to a challenging and successful journey at the University of Wisconsin Madison. She is a talented young person who now volunteers and gets involved with people and groups that are dedicated to the well- being of others. She has inner peace.
Thank you GAB for the journey she experienced and will continue to utilize throughout her entire life. The focus on a growth mindset with young people enables them to find their inner strength and then be able to share this virtue with others.”
The Volunteer Center of Brown County Make a Difference Day
2019 Make A Difference Day - Volunteer Center of Brown County
A national day of service with a local impact!Volunteers from across the country, including right here in Green Bay, united for Make A Difference Day (October 26, 2019), one of the largest annual single days of service nationwide. Since 1992, volunteers and communities have come together on Make A Difference Day with a single purpose: to improve the lives of others and strengthen their communities.
The Volunteer Center of Brown County coordinated the local Make A Difference Day efforts, which partnered more than 300 volunteers with over 75 senior and disabled homeowners in our community who needed help raking leaves, washing windows and completing minor maintenance projects. Corporate teams, church groups, students, and individuals tackled projects throughout the week leading up to Saturday, as well as on the day itself.
A kickoff event was held that morning at the Volunteer Center where community members enjoyed snacks and coffee, met other volunteers, and got motivated for a great day of service!
