Acorn Acres specializes in the rehabilitation of squirrels, cottontails, and juvenile woodchucks. We provide these prey species with a clean, quiet, and safe (predator free) space to recover and grow. Once recovered our patients are returned to their natural habitat to live out their wild lives, wildly! Our facility is not open to the public, but we bring the wild animal experience to you as part of our fun exciting educational programs. Our educational ambassador animals are not able to live in the wild and reside with us permanently. We are 100% volunteer, no one receives a paycheck or stipend. Mighty oaks from little acorns grow!
